Geschwister Pfister

Toni Pfister

Thank you for the music

Toni Pfister - Tobias Bonn - was born on March 5th 1964 in Bonn, Germany. He spent his early childhood in Köln and his school years in Mainz. He went to High School there and since his 16th birthday he plaid regularly in the children and teenagers theatre of the "Mainzer Forumtheater Unterhaus". He is also suspected to have animated the ZDF youth broadcast "Schülerexpress" for a while.

After his graduation and some unpleasant explanations with the district alternative national service office he passed the entrance exam to the Conservatorium for Music and Theatre in Bern. He began to study there at the beginning of the summer 1984 together with the three other "Original-Geschwister Pfister": Christoph Marti, Max Gertsch and Lilian Naef.

Prost For his first job Tobias went to the "Deutsche Theater" in Göttingen (Theatre-manager: Heinz Engels). For two years he plaid industriously everything he was asked to. But then he terminated his contract in order to go to Berlin and live together with his friend Christoph Marti.

The first Geschwister-Pfister rehearsals began at the same time as the contracts in Göttingen and Berlin: as they already did at school in Bern, Tobias, Christoph, Lilian and Max tried out songs and sketches. They showed these at Otto Sander's 50th birthday. And there a very animated cultural crème of Berlin witnessed the triumph of a wonderful friendship.
A whole evening program would be created out of the birthday numbers: "Melodies for the feelings".
Tobias organizes the management of Geschwister Pfister completely.
